What the archive establishes
By the evening of September 13, Daniel was asking to preserve and refine the pre-Unity game while a Unity edition also existed. A September 14 directive explicitly names Skunk County. The exact original transition and naming exchange remain unrecovered.
More than deliveries
Daniel requested crop-recovery missions, debt-driven bank jobs and worker recruitment. He also reported that traffic and police driving were not appearing as expected. Cartoon vehicle personality was a direction; a reference was not permission to copy someone else’s characters.
An early public edition
The September 14 work report describes a public solo release with bots and traffic, both browser editions, and movement, shooting, reload and harvest checks. Broader performance and public multiplayer capacity remained unproven.
Keep the chronology straight
The September 16 Redding work was a replacement-world effort for an existing game. It was not County’s birth. Later releases and later screenshots are labeled as later evidence.
Evidence & perspective
- Recovered origins and development history
September 29 corrected history supplied through the shared project archive. Preserves direct user excerpts and separates assistant work reports from player observations. Its opening correction supersedes older missing-origin claims.
