Keep the browser game; develop the native path

Preserve work that people can already play.

The problem

A browser edition and a Unity edition existed; replacing one would lose useful work.

The choice

Keep both editions; use shared authoritative rules where applicable.

Why this direction

Daniel explicitly requested preservation of the pre-Unity game. Later BR/R6 became the frozen free browser demo while the full game moved toward PC.

What it changed

Two presentations create separate performance, packaging and acceptance work.

Later revisions

Later revised to a frozen browser demo and continuing Windows development.

This is a concise decision record. It does not invent undocumented alternatives or private reasoning.

Evidence & perspective

  • Recovered origins and development history · 2026-09-29 · Recovered transcript excerpts and retrospective reconstruction

September 29 corrected history supplied through the shared project archive. Preserves direct user excerpts and separates assistant work reports from player observations. Its opening correction supersedes older missing-origin claims.

  • Skunk Universe master and workspace handoff · 2026-10-04 · Shared project record

Read October 4. Latest release entry records Windows CB and the frozen BR/R6 browser demo; older entries remain historical.
