Player feedback changed priority
The recovered September 21 history records Daniel approving improved driving and pushing the map forward. The next work expanded the Redding track while retaining terrain and route provenance.
The hard part
A larger map exposed sparse lots, junction and river problems, camera issues and uneven performance. More roads were not automatically more usable game world.
The release boundary
A documented September 22 Redding update did not ship at that checkpoint. That does not erase the earlier September 14 public County release; it describes a later candidate that remained local.
Where the lesson leads
The current priority is to finish roads, access, neighborhoods, businesses and landscaping within the existing boundary before expanding underground or across new regions.
Evidence & perspective
- Recovered origins and development history
September 29 corrected history supplied through the shared project archive. Preserves direct user excerpts and separates assistant work reports from player observations. Its opening correction supersedes older missing-origin claims.
