Development checkpoint / Oct 6, 2026

The mine cart acquired an accountant.

Finite deposits and mixed cargo made the underground loop a save-system problem too.

The mining checkpoint added seven mineral types with level gates, a saved depletion ledger and separate material inventory. The cart could hold twenty-four mixed minerals. Ore and grown-crop cargo were mutually exclusive, preserving one physical cargo authority.

The native fixture mined eighteen iron and six copper, exhausted deposits, loaded the cart, rode the track, saved, reopened and unloaded the same quantities. Actions used actual Windows controls; route travel used the disclosed test driver. Coins and crops did not increase just because a cart changed hands.

The player exposed two integration defects: a release of movement near the entrance could bounce the player outside, and the native account view omitted mining state/actions. The repair connected those existing systems; more attractive rocks would not have fixed missing data.

A finite mining ledger is not a finished crafting economy, replenishing resource world or complete underground city. The current goal remains coherent, reviewable loops with preserved progress.

Evidence & perspective

  • Finite mining and conserved cart cargo · 2026-10-06 · Native development review

Seven material types, depletion, a 24-unit mixed-ore cart, native actions and cold recovery were checked. Mining integration and entrance-threshold defects were repaired. This is not a replenishing-resource or complete crafting system.

  • CE: the game needed to know when to leave · 2026-10-06 · Release acceptance and publication records

CE records eight ordinary exits, including three exact-package checks, and preservation of 59 real profile files. A later activation fault required another repair before CH. Earlier failed candidates remain failures.
